Viola started in the first part of the 70s publishing erotics books and magazines and producing various types of hardcore movies. At the end of the 70s they became specialized in the Bizarre, Gummi niche and created the series Viola Video Bizarr. They made about 45 of those, some high quality productions with pro actresses and less fortunate ones with amateurs. At the end of the 80s, the quality of their production started to fade and they stopped producing.
