Her cold look, her sublime appearance and every move she makes announce that she wants to make each one of them a witness of how well she knows to deal with her slaves. Naked, the delinquent is raised at the stake and soon you can hear the whip's hiss and the scre*m of fear, the lament and whimper of the martyred. And who are the judges that actually impose these punishments? The punishment happens at the whim and arbitrariness of the owner - not because they have done something wrong, but because it is impossible for them to pay a certain sum to me, for which they could buy their freedom.
