You know, sometimes I just can't help myself. Maybe it is Darling, but whenever she comes by to visit, i just can't help but do something crazy complex and hard. I don't necessarily mean super stringent and challenging (although that happens too). I mean crazy complex and difficult to tie. Such was the case here. This is one of those ties that I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but making it happen took a long time. We listened to the entire Poe "Haunted" album while I was weaving this mass of rope around Darling's rather willing body. That's over 70 mins for those that are keeping track. Am I the "fastest" rigger in the world? Obviously not, but this is one of those ties that I can look back on and say, "Yep, I'm proud of that". Helpless and quite beautiful - and with all those ropes, they are not moving and changing. It doesn't matter how much she struggled (and she certainly did a lot of that), she couldn't move it around at all... awesome.
