Perhaps he underestimated how much trouble this one would be, but that's okay, he likes a challenge. It's all the more fun when he does break them, after all. He manages to pin one wrists against her ass and put a rope around it, taking advantage of a momentary lull in her fighting. She says she'll place nice now, but Ivan knows it's just until she catches her breath - by then he'll have her hands tied though. Sure enough, as he ties the knot, she slowly fights to pull one leg out from under him, flexing her calf and thigh, reminding Ivan why he was so attracted to her in the first place. So he grabs both legs, pulls them straight, pins her ankles between his knees, and starts to wrap rope just above her strong calves. A woman's strength may be in her legs, but Ivan's are still stronger, so even though Whitney attempts to pull her legs free again, he still gets them tied securely - partly because Whitney discovers a somewhat looser coil in the rope around her wrists, and twists until she can reach it to slip it over her knuckles. It takes a lot of squirming and careful pulling, but eventually she manages to slide one hand free, the rope still tight around her other wrist. Ivan isn't too concerned - he knows he's almost done with her knees, and getting one part of her contained makes it a lot easier to deal with the rest.
