After confronting the very strange 'Martin' about his stash, and after his initial embarrassment and feigning of disinterest in the topic, the ladies convince him to tie them up. We should say they don’t need to convince him much, and soon enough he shows up with a whole lot of rope and some long handkerchiefs with which to gag their sweet mouths.
