Alone, Kiki and Bella struggle valiantly, gagged over their mouths and secured; bound up. After a while of this (and it really is extraordinary detective gagging action) Bella manages to communicate a plan of sorts to the equally helpless Kiki. The girls mumble agreement to work on getting their bound wrists free from behind their chairs, so they can at least get some purchase while they slip their high heels off.
