This is repeated for each girl, except for Selena and Lucy, who receive 36 across the buttocks and 14 across the back of their thighs. They all think their ordeal is over but Miss Gregory informs them to all return to the Punishment Room and they discover that each of them will receive 6 strokes of the tawse across their sore welted bottoms in addition to 6 strokes of the leather implement delivered onto each hand!
